The Konavle Hiker


Explore the Dubrovnik coutryside by foot on a scentic trail through small farms and picturesque villages. Stroll through lush Mediterranean vegetation and cypress trees on a 8km long hike through Konavle. Although facing despair during the last war, Konavle is now filled with rich history, many cultural monuments, and breathtaking natural beauties, making it the perfect setting for any outdoor activity.

This hiking excrusion starts in Dubrovnik with a transfer to in a small town, known as Cilipi, and follows through Komaje along the old Austrian railroad above the valley and through picturesque villages. Once in Komaje, the hike circles back, along the seaside this time, above the cliffs to the starting point. Once reaching Cilipi again, discover its square, church and museums, with time to explore each after refreshments.

After Cilipi, the trip continues to Ljuta, a small village by the river, for lunch at a beautiful cozy restaurant, with a traditional meal in a georgous setting before returning back to Dubrovnik.
